LAST TIME OUT

The Westchester Knicks (9-3), the official NBA G League affiliate of the New York Knicks, used a franchise-setting defensive effort to knock off the Windy City Bulls (4-8), 91-73, Tuesday night at the Westchester County Center. The victory extends Westchester’s win streak to four.

The 72 points scored by the Windy City Bulls tabbed a new low for a Westchester opponent. Erie’s 74 points tallied on January 24, 2016 was the previous record. The Bulls’ 72 points is the second lowest point total all season. Lakeland lost 96-71 at Windy City on November 2.

A mid-range jumper by Kadeem Allen at the 9:53 mark of the first quarter severed the Bulls’ short-lived one-point lead and only lead of the game.

Westchester was paced by Billy Garrett, who earned his third consecutive start. He registered 23 points on 71.4-percent shooting. Hicks finished with 21 points going 10-for-12 at the charity stripe and raised for a game-high and season-high five rejections.
