Westchester Knicks Draft Jamal Bey 19th Overall in the 2023 NBA G League Draft

NEW YORK – October 28, 2023 – The Westchester Knicks, the official NBA G League affiliate of the New York Knicks, have drafted guard Jamal Bey from the University of Washington with the 19th pick in the 2023-24 NBA G League Draft. 

Bey, 24-years old (6-6, 210-pounds), attended Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas where he was a Four-Star ESPN Top 100 recruit in 2018.

The Las Vegas, Nevada-native played five seasons at Washington, holding a career average of 6.5 points and 2.8 rebounds per game. In his junior year, he averaged a career-best 10.3 points per game and 3.7 rebounds over 26 games (25 starts), shooting a collegiate high 50.7 percent from the three-point line. His senior year, he became a full-time starter (31 games) averaging 9.4 points, a career high 4.1 rebounds, and 1.3 steals a game.

The Westchester Knicks training camp begins Monday, October 30th leading into the 2023-24 season tip off on Friday, November 10th at Delaware. The home opener will be played against the Maine Celtics at the Westchester County Center in White Plains, NY, on Sunday, November 12th
