WESTCHESTER KNICKS ACQUIRE IGOR MILIČIĆ JR. IN TRADE WITH THE DELAWARE BLUE COATS

WHITE PLAINS, NY – September 14, 2026 – The Westchester Knicks, the official NBA G League affiliate of the New York Knicks, have traded the returning player rights to Isaiah Roby and a future second-round pick (via Cleveland) in the NBA G League Draft to the Delaware Blue Coats in exchange Westchester is acquiring the returning player rights to Igor Miličić Jr. and Thierry Darlan. 

Miličić Jr., 24-years old (6-10, 225-pounds), appeared in 45 games (6 starts) last season with the Delaware Bluecoats, averaging 6.9 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 1.0 assists over 18.8 minutes of action. Miličić Jr. posted a career-high 24 points, nine rebounds, four assists, and two steals on 52.9-percent shooting versus the Capital City Go-Go on March 27, 2026.  Most recently, he was a member of the San Antonio Spurs Summer League team for the 2026 California Classic and NBA Summer League in Las Vegas, totaling 7 appearances (2 starts) and posting averages of 4.3 points and 5.9 rebounds per game. 

Miličić Jr. played four collegiate seasons suiting up for the Virginia Cavaliers (2021-22), Charlotte 49ers (2022-24), and the Tennessee Volunteers (2024-25). He averaged a collegiate-best during his 2023-24 Junior season with Charlotte, appearing in 31 games (29 starts), averaging 12.8 points, 8.5 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 1.1 blocks per game on 48.7-percent shooting from the field and 37.6-percent shooting from three. During his senior season with Tennessee, he averaged 9.4 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 1.9 assists in 37 games played (all starts) over 25.5 minutes of action. He led the Volunteers in rebounding and defensive rebounding (4.8), placing second in offensive rebounding (1.9) and total blocks (25), and ranked fourth on the team in scoring, earning himself 2024 ALL-AAC Third Team honors.  

The Rovinj, Croatia-native began his professional playing career at the age of 17 with Orange Academy Ratiopharm (2019-21), before playing for RatioPharm Ulm (2020-21) in the German BBL. Miličić Jr. is of Croation-Polish descent and has represented Poland’s Senior National basketball team in the 2020 EuroBasket Qualifiers and 2025 European World Cup Qualifier.
