Tyler Hall Receives NBA Call-Up via New York Knicks

TARRYTOWN, NY – December 18, 2021 – Tyler Hall of the Westchester Knicks, the official NBA G League affiliate of the New York Knicks, signed with the New York Knicks as announced by the team Saturday afternoon. Hall becomes the 14th Westchester Knick to receive an NBA Call-Up and first for the 2021-22 NBA G League season.

Hall was selected fourth overall by Westchester in the 2019 NBA G League Draft out of Montana State. During his first season, he averaged 9.3 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.7 assists through 17 games. He scored a career-high 24 points versus Salt Lake (1/18/20) which was one of five 20-point performances in his debut year. He was named to the USA November 2020 AmeriCup Qualifying Team 13-man roster which finished 2-0.

In his second season and during the league’s 15-game single site condensed season, Hall averaged 10.1 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2.6 assists. He drained a team-best 39 three-pointers on 41.5-percent and became the franchise leader with 130 made three-pointers.

Hall joined New York for the 2021 NBA Summer League and signed with the team in October 2021 before subsequently being waived and re-joining Westchester as a Returning Rights player.

The Rock Island, IL native is currently averaging 14.6 points, 4.2 rebounds and 3.2 assists in 11 games played. He matched his career-high six three-pointers made against Maine (11/29).
