New York Knicks Ink Jared Harper To Two-Way

NEW YORK, NY – November 25, 2020 – The New York Knicks announced today that the team has signed guard Jared Harper to a Two-Way contract. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Harper, 5’11, 175-pounds commenced his first professional season on a Two-Way contract via the Phoenix Suns and its official NBA G League affiliate, the Northern Arizona Suns.
For the NBA club, Harper appeared in three contests averaging just under eight minutes per game.
Spending a majority of his rookie season with Northern Arizona, the Mableton, GA native started all 33 of the games he appeared in averaging a team-high 20.8 points on 41.2-percent shooting, 2.8 boards and a team-best 5.7 assists. Harper’s 2.7 made threes a game also led the team on 35.9-percent.
Harper’s scoring slotted him 16th in the G League while his usage percentage (30%) and free-throws (111) ranked second and third, respectively.
The guard signed his first Two-Way with Phoenix on July 18, 2019 after going undrafted out of Auburn University in the 2019 NBA Draft. During his junior year and final season with the Tigers, Harper was chosen as the NCAA Tournament Midwest Regional Most Outstanding Player after averaging 17.5 points, 6.5 assists and 1.5 rebounds in the school’s run to the 2019 NCAA Final Four.
