Chasson Randle’s Record-Setting Weekend

Chasson Randle had quite the weekend. Combining for 74 points in Westchester’s last two games, Randle connected on 16-of-20 shots from beyond the arc.

His performance led to his designation as the NBA Development League’s Performer of the Week for games played Monday, Dec. 12, through Sunday, Dec. 18.


On Dec. 16, he scored a season-high 38 points on 12-of-19 shooting to go with four rebounds, three assists, and two steals in a 132-124 victory over the Texas Legends. Randle’s nine three-pointers in the game set a franchise record (previous: Walker Russell Jr. with eight on 4/3/15 at Delaware).

Chasson Randle followed his record 38-point performance at Texas with another 36 points in Austin two days later, on Dec. 18.
